PAST PROGRAM

This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!

Description: Fishing for Bream

Location: Middle Fork Bottoms State Park

Fishing is a popular recreational activity across Tennessee, and West Tennessee offers endless opportunities to catch bream—also known as shellcrackers or panfish. These fish are ideal for anglers of all skill levels and can be easily caught and released, or taken home for a delicious meal.

In this 30-minute program, we’ll cover everything you need to

know to get started with fishing, with a special focus on how to target bream

species specifically. There will be time for questions at the end.

Please bring your own fishing gear if you plan to fish

afterward, along with bottled water and comfortable clothing.
