Description: First Day Hike - Hardie Trail

Location: Scott's Gulf Wilderness State Park

Join us on a ranger led hike on the beautiful Hardie Loop Trail.

This is a 2 1/2-mile hike and features some beautiful bluffs, forests, and some wet weather waterfalls. It is a moderate hike in ability, but there are some rocks on the trail, and a short ladder to climb. Besides looking at the forest ecology, we will also delve into some of the history of this rich area. Water, sturdy boots, and a walking stick are recommended. 

Meet at the Hardie Trailhead, which is located at the junction of the Gladstone Acres Road and the Old Bonair Road.
