Kick off the new year with a healthy habit - hiking in nature! Join us for a ranger-led hike along the Island Loop Trail.
Meet at the trailhead by Cabin #9 at 10:00 am. This is an easy-moderate trail of approximately 2.8 miles that takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to hike. Be sure to dress for the weather. Dogs are welcome, but must remain on a leash. Please wear closed-toed shoes. The trail has tree roots that can be tripping hazards and there are a few areas that could be muddy. There is a gradual elevation gain of 118ft. Water is recommended. Meet at the Island Loop Trailhead in the Cabin Area. Free to attend, but donations are welcome.
