This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
Take part in a Tennessee State Parks tradition by joining us for our First Day hike. Join Interpreter Hannah for a hike along the campground trail, an easy trail for families with kids and people with mobility limitations. Get your year started outdoors and enjoying nature. View beautiful rock features, see some beautiful plants, and see the Duck River in winter.
This trail is about 1.2-miles long and is mostly flat on natural terrain. Please see the attached PDF or call the contact phone number for any questions regarding eligibility. This trail is traversable on our trail wheelchairs, which are available for rent at our camp store. Please call our office to rent our trail chairs ahead of the hike if needed.
All individuals, families, and groups welcome! Dogs are welcome as long as they are leased and friendly.
