This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
Step back in time and explore the important role fiber played in everyday life in early 1900s Tennessee. This engaging demonstration showcases how natural materials such as wool and plant fibers were carefully processed by hand to create clothing, tools, and essential household textiles. Discover how families depended on these skills for daily living, how fiber work was closely connected to the land and changing seasons, and how these time honored traditions continue to inspire modern fiber arts today. Try your hand at spinning yarn as well. Featuring special guest fabric artist Jennifer Folsom.
