Location: South Cumberland State Park

There is no better way to place to spend Father's Day than in the great outdoors! Join Ranger Hannah for a nature hike to Sycamore Falls on the Fiery Gizzard trail!

For this hike, we will be hiking the Grundy Forest Day Loop and then go to Sycamore Falls and back. This will be a moderate 3-mile hike with rocky terrain. Hikers need to make sure that they wear sturdy hiking boots/shoes, bring water, a snack, and a sense of adventure!

*Note: Currently the main parking lot to this trailhead is closed due to ADA renovations. Hikers can park in the overflow parking around the baseball field. The "pay to park" is currently waived until ADA renovations are completed.
