Description: Critters of the Creek at Sellars Farm State Archaeology Area
Location: Cedars of Lebanon State Park
Join Pat Cummins for a guided hike exploring the archaeological significance of the site. Along the trail, participants will learn about the layout of the village, the function of the mound, and the artifacts and features that help archaeologists interpret daily life, trade, and community structure during the Mississippian period. The adventure continues with an exploration of the creek, where visitors can search for aquatic critters, interesting rocks, and other natural treasures while discovering how waterways shaped both the landscape and the lives of the people who once called this area home. This program highlights how ongoing research continues to deepen our understanding of this important cultural landscape.

Directions:
Sellars Farm is located off Exit 239 (Watertown) on I-40 east. Turn onto Poplar Hill Road. The entrance is approximately 1.5 miles on the left.
