This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
Step back in time and explore the rich history and natural beauty of Sellars Farm State Archaeological Area, one of the best-preserved Native American villages in the Southeast. This site was once home to a thriving Mississippian-era community, and its ceremonial mound offers a glimpse into the lives and culture of the people who lived here centuries ago.
Join Ranger Shauna, interpreter at Cedars of Lebanon State Park, for a leisurely hike through the area’s diverse landscapes. Along the trail, you’ll encounter unique trees such as Bur Oak and Musclewood, vibrant wildflowers including Wild Blue Phlox and Miami Mist, and even the rare Tennessee Clubtail Dragonfly. Enjoy peaceful views of Spring Creek while learning about both the natural and cultural history of this special site.
