This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
We will meet at the Gee Creek Boat Ramp then make our way to Reliance where we will start our paddle.
This will we a nice way to cool off after a busy, hot day. This lower part of the Hiwassee is a little more relaxed than the upper but there are still a good number of rapids for some excitement. The big challenge will come when it is time to make the take out at Gee Creek.
Not for beginners. Participants must provide their own SUP or kayak and a Coast Guard-approved PFD.
Meet: 5:30 PM at Gee Creek Boat Ramp (team up for shuttle)
Put-on: 6:00PM at Reliance boat Ramp
Take-out: 8:30 at Gee Creek Boat Ramp (if miss take out next take will be at 411 bridge and someone will come to pick you up)
