This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
Join staff for a guided hike around our approximately one mile homestead loop as we identify and explore edible, pollinator, and medicinal plants native to the Wolf River Valley. You'll have the opportunity to identify and even taste test some of the plants found along the way. We will even expand on some stories and legends on their uses in generations past!
Meet your guide at the Park Visitor's center to begin the hike. For more information, or to find the eligibility criteria, please examine the Essential Eligibility Criteria at the link below.
*This trail can accommodate our all-terrain wheelchair. To reserve for this hike, please call the park office to ensure your reservation.
*Please wear close-toed shoes, and bring along extra water, a hat, sunscreen, bug spray, and note pad to jot down your findings.
