This two-part series involves learning how to crochet from Ranger Abby, using unconventional yarn made of plastic grocery bags, and crafting with others in your community!
Part one will be an introduction into crocheting, but feel free to bring along your own patterns and expertise to share with the class! Recommended minimum age is 12 years old, but all are welcomed to try! Please note that this program is located on the second floor of our Visitor Center which is currently only accessible via stairs. If the stairs limit your ability to participate, please reach out to Ranger Abby via abigail.wiseman@tn.gov.
If you have your own yarn and crochet hooks, you may select the free option when registering. If you would like to be supplied yarn and crochet hooks by the park, please register with the $10 option. All hooks and yarn handed out will be yours to bring home!
