Description: Early Morning Hike to the base of the Waterfall
Location: Cummins Falls State Park
You're invited for a waterfall adventure!
We’d love for you to join us! We’ll meet at the visitor center at 7:30 a.m. (CST) for an easygoing 2.5-mile round-trip hike. Together, we’ll visit the Waterfall overlook, explore the gorge, and walk along the Blackburn Fork State Scenic River to the base of the waterfall.
Be ready to get your feet wet! Just bring water-resistant shoes or sandals (no flip-flops, please) and a dry pair for the ride home. Expect a little splash, some rocky spots, and lots of beautiful scenery.
Pack water and a light snack. No permit is needed for the hike—only if you'd like to stay at the waterfall afterward.
A quick note: This hike happens rain or shine, but for safety, we’ll switch to a guided overlook tour if the gorge is flooded. If we have to cancel, park staff will notify you.
We can’t wait to see you!
