Have you ever wondered how to cook dinner like the CCC and Cumberland Homesteaders used to? Join Park Ranger Bailey and work together to cook a cast iron meal to share with friends or family. We will be utilizing the indoor fireplace at the Recreation Lodge to simulate a campfire cooking environment, and you will develop skills to benefit you on your next campout. Preparation will begin at 5:30. Meal and fellowship will follow. Feel free to bring a camp chair and be prepared to tell your best campfire story. Meal, beverages, and s'mores will be included with the registration cost. After finalizing registration, please notify the park office of any food allergies.
