Devil’s Backbone State Natural Area was designated in 1997, and the Devil’s Backbone State Park was dedicated in March 2026. Come join us to learn about the new park, and to explore the plants and ecology of the three-mile trail. The trail contains some moderate uphill and downhill climbs and may be considered strenuous by some. Please bring plenty of water, snacks, and wear sturdy footwear. There are no bathroom facilities at the park or natural area.
