Join a BHP Ranger for a guided hike down the Azalea Spring Day Loop trail to burn off some of those extra Turkey Day calories! Guests will be emersed in the beauty of the wooded areas, fall foliage, and the Dismal Swamp.
Terrain is moderate difficulty and the trail is approximately 3 miles in length. Please wear comfortable hiking shoes and dress for the weather. Meet the Ranger at the Turkey Call trailhead parking lot. Maps are available at the kiosk located in front of the park office.
Directions: Enter park through park entrance. Continue down John Howell Road past the park office. About two miles down the road will Y off - Keep Right. Take the next right at the four stone pillars and you will dead end at the Turkey Call Trailhead Parking Lot.
