Join Seasonal Ranger Crow and discover the fascinating world of macroinvertebrates—tiny aquatic creatures that help us understand stream health! We’ll explore shallow creek areas near the Grist Mill and carefully search for insects, salamanders, crayfish, and more.
Wear sturdy shoes that can get wet (no flip-flops) and clothes suitable for creek wading. You may want a towel and a change of clothes afterward. Participants must be able to walk on uneven, slippery terrain in ankle-to-knee-deep water for up to 45 minutes. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
