Join Ranger Kamryn at the Park Visitor Center (1020 Jackson Hill Rd, Burns TN) on March 14, 2026 from 11AM-12PM as we learn how to create our own compost bins. Participants will craft their own compost bin to take home!
This activity is designed for adults and children over the age of 10. Participants will learn how to create and maintain their own compost bins at home as well as the importance of composting. The space is limited to 10 participants, registration is required. This program costs $10 per person. Participants must bring their own food scraps (banana peels, coffee grounds, eggshells, etc.) or add food scraps later at home. All other materials will be provided.
