This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
Ever seen tracks in the mud and wanted to know what, or who, they came from? Come make your own book for these wildlife tracks through this step-by-step guide!
This program is intended for audiences ages 8 to 12 that are curious about the critters all around us! Even though it is fitted to a certain age, all are welcome to attend. Participants below the age of 8 are recommended to have parental guidance.
Before we create our books, we'll discuss different types of tracks, what animals they may come from, and what sets each track apart from another. We'll tie all this together by etching some of your favorite tracks into your book, and we'll even walk across Ballard Lake's trail bridge to scope out some tracks ourselves, with our field guides of course!
This program will be cancelled in the event of severe inclement weather. Our website has been having technical difficulties with registration on the same day of the program. If you have difficulties, please contact the park at the number listed.
