Corn husk dolls were a common handmade toy beloved by children on the Tennessee frontier, but this folk craft has served many purposes throughout history and various practices, often associated with Samhain (the end of summer/harvest season). Join Ranger Rachel to hear the lore behind the traditional corn husk doll and learn how to craft a corn husk effigy of your own! Your corn husk figure can be whatever you want it to be, because it will be yours to keep!
