This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
There are at least 10,000 species of birds in the world, and at least 423 of those species live in Tennessee! Learning about the birds around us and the benefits they provide to our ecosystem can help us connect with nature, and even ourselves!
This program is recommended for younger audiences ages 7 and older who have an interest in connecting with nature.
Throughout the program, we will participate in a bird scavenger hunt, trying to identify as many colors as we can while learning about how birds benefit the ecosystem through their actions as well as their songs.
Binoculars and a scavenger hunt guide will be provided by the park. Be sure to bring shoes that you can walk in and water. To prepare for this program please read the attached Essential Eligibility Criteria.
In the event of inclement weather, this program will be cancelled.
