Join Ranger Preston on a guided hike to the rarely seen CCC camp located within Montgomery Bell State Park. The CCC camp is a historic landmark of the park and a must see! While on the hike and at the camp we will discuss the Civilian Conservation Corps and how the CCC helped transform this area into the park we all know and love today.
We will meet at the parking lot near the Spillway and Lake Woodhaven. The hike is moderate in difficulty and will be around 1 mile roundtrip. Please dress appropriately for weather and wear sturdy footwear. Bring water, sunscreen, and bug spray.
The program will be cancelled if we experience inclement weather.
