Cherokee built summer houses. These were rectangular structures made of a woven wooden frame covered in clay plaster with thatched roofs. Outside of shelter, there were many important players in surviving. Clay pots were a staple in the Cherokee story, as well as pelts and copper ornaments. Join SIR Kaden Payne in an art project where we will make dioramas resembling a Cherokee tribe! This program is best fit for the age range specified.
