This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
Wetlands are an extremely important feature for both humans and animals as they provide things like flood control, water filtration, and habitat for a variety of species.
This program is recommended for anyone who wants to learn about and celebrate wetlands around the world.
During this program, we will have a brief overview of what a wetland is and why we need to preserve them. There will be a hands-on demonstration of the effects that a wetland has on the environment, and we will discuss ways that each of us can help keep wetlands at the maximum potential.
This is a short indoor program and demonstration, there are no suggested items needed to attend.
In the event of inclement weather, this program will be cancelled.
