PAST PROGRAM

This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!

Description: Wildflower Hike

Location: Cordell Hull Birthplace State Park

Join us on a guided wildflower identification and cave overlook hike as we observe and identify an array of wildflowers and view Bunkum cave from the overlook on a 1.25-mile hike.

This program is designed for adults and children who are interested in connecting with nature and increasing their observations skills on a trail with gradual inclines and declines. Please see the Essential Eligibility Criteria below for more information on the trail.

You’ll leave this program with a new confidence in your flower identification skills and an appreciation for our natural world.

We will begin our guided hike on the Bunkum Cave Loop trail. Throughout the program your guide will be there to assist and provide valuable insights on wildflower identification.

To make the most of this experience, we recommend dressing comfortably for outdoor activities, wearing sturdy walking shoes, and bringing water.

In the event of inclement weather this program will be cancelled.
