Description: From Glacier to Lake: Water Cycle Bracelet
Location: Cordell Hull Birthplace State Park
All the water that's currently on the planet is all the water we will ever have. Through this program, we will learn about where our water came from, where it will go, and how we can keep it clean.
This program is intended for audiences aged 8 and up.
Is it true the water we drink might have been consumed by dinosaurs? Find the answer to questions like this by attending our water cycle bracelet making activity and craft! Learn how water travels around our planet before ending up in our cups. Throughout the activity, we will visit activity stations including glaciers, oceans, animals, soil, and many others, making a beaded bracelet as we go. At the end, we will discuss more about how our water droplets cycled between stations and how it travels between plants, animals, clouds, and bodies of water.
To prepare for our program, please read the Essential Eligibility Criteria below.
In the case of inclement weather, the program will be cancelled.
