This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
Join us for a demonstration where we will be making homemade mulberry cobbler. We will learn how families, like the Hulls, would have prepared their food and cooked their meals during the 1870s. Be ready to help prepare a meal and cook over an open fire. All of the ingredients and supplies will be provided. All you need to do is bring seating (blanket, folding chair, etc.) and your appetite!
You will assist in preparing the cobbler as well as learn the methods and ingredients used for the time period. After the cobbler is prepared, we will eat it! This is a great way to celebrate Father's Day.
Be sure to check out our essential eligibility criteria listed below.
You must register to attend this program to ensure we have enough supplies. If no one has registered for this program one day prior to the start time, the program will be cancelled.
In the event of inclement weather, this program will be cancelled.
