Description: Mindful Scavenger Hunt

Location: Cordell Hull Birthplace State Park

This will not be a scavenger hunt in the traditional sense. Rather as we hike, we will stop to notice several things as we come across them and then we will mark them off the list! It is of the utmost importance that we leave the outdoors better than we found it, so we will not be removing anything from nature. 

This program will last around an hour and is recommended for anyone who would like to hike the front half of the Bunkum Cave Loop Trail and really be able to appreciate everything that is has to offer. If we are observant, we will likely hear or see many birds, some types of fungi, different types of trees, maybe some white-tailed deer, who knows! 

Please wear sturdy shoes, dress for the weather, and bring water to drink.

In the event of inclement weather, this program will be cancelled.
