Join SIR Kandace to take a short walk and explore what clues caterpillars leave behind like chew marks, frass, rolled leaves, and silk. We will talk about how caterpillars choose their host plants, why leaf shape matters, and how these tiny herbivores fit into the food web.
At the end of the program, we will make a butterfly craft.
This program will last less than one hour and is designed with children under 12 in mind, however all are welcome!
