June is Leave No Trace month. Join SIR Kandace at the trailhead for our Leave No Trace Go Green signature event. We will go over the seven principles and a fun way to remember them while you’re exploring the outdoors!
This program is recommended for all ages.
Leave No Trace is a set of outdoor ethics to promote the enjoyment and conservation of the outdoors. These principles are important to preserving and protect our natural spaces all while having fun recreation experiences. This mindset not only benefits people enjoying nature but also our natural and cultural resources so that generations can appreciate the outdoors for years to come.
During this program we will learn about the seven Leave No Trace principles, why they are important, and a fun to remember them. You can take what you have learned on our next outdoor adventure and share the principles with your family and friends.
