PAST PROGRAM

This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!

Description: Christmas Crafts: Button Trees

Location: Cordell Hull Birthplace State Park

Join SIR Kandace to create a button Christmas tree out of styrofoam! While we craft, we will discuss Victorian era decorating styles and historical button lore.

This program is recommended for those ages 8 and up who want to learn a fun craft. Those younger than 8 may participate with adult supervision. Please keep in mind that we will be using sharp straight pins for this project. This program will last less than one hour and you will be able to take your tree home with you.

All materials will be provided, however if you have a particular color scheme in mind, feel free to bring your own buttons.

In the event of inclement weather, this program will be cancelled.
