This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
Join us for a beginner’s Halloween themed needle felting class!
Felting is the process of interlocking and compressing wool fibers to create a non-woven fabric. The practice of felting has been around in different iterations throughout most of human history. For this activity, we will be learning about the process of felting through a needle felting craft, which is a popular hobby.
This program is recommended for anyone 10 years or older that is looking to learn the history and craft of needle felting. Kids 9 years and younger may participate with adult supervision.
During this program will be using wool and cookie cutters for our needle felting craft. Bring your favorite cookie cutter from home or use one of ours! Materials will be provided by the park. This program uses very sharp needles for the felting process.
To prepare for this program, please read the attached Essential Eligibility Criteria below.
In the event of inclement weather, this program will be cancelled.
