Montgomery Bell State Park has 8 cemeteries within its boundaries. Join Ranger Preston on a lantern tour to three of these cemeteries, each having its own unique story to tell. We will learn about the people that lived and worked this land and also significant historical events that took place long before Montgomery Bell State Park was established.
PSA- This tour is not meant to be spooky. We'll be discussing history and factual events.
We will meet at the campground shelter (located next to the ballfield) and provide lanterns for everyone. This is around a 1.5-mile hike, moderate in difficulty with some uneven terrain. Dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes. No pets please.
