As part of the kickoff for the 48th Elsie Quarterman Cedar Glade Festival, we’ll take a hike and look at how the Division of Natural Areas is restoring and expanding this amazing habitat. We will wander on and off trail to areas where staff are working to make the best habitat possible for our rare cedar glade plants. We’ll also talk about the wildlife implications of our work and how we manage competing management objectives. It will be hot and buggy, so dress accordingly. Stick around for the evening festival activities at Cedars of Lebanon State Park.
