Join SIR Emmalee in creating coneflowers out of recycled egg cartons and straws while we learn the significance behind these beautiful flowers!
This fun and educational program is recommended for all ages and is perfect for those interested in learning more about our native coneflowers. Children age 6 and under may participate with adult supervision.
Our native Coneflower plays an important role in Tennessee's ecosystem. Native plants provide a safe space and a food source that our native pollinators have been adapted to over time. It is important that we keep them safe and the environment around them safe and healthy too!
During this program, we will learn how coneflowers help native pollinators and keep our ecosystem healthy, while making your own coneflowers to take home. All materials will be provided by the park.
