Join park staff at the historic John and Landon Carter Mansion (built in 1780) to help clean up litter along the riverbank and grounds. This beautiful site is located across town from the main park grounds, at 1031 Broad Street. The riverbank is a popular fishing spot, and the grounds are popular for folks to walk their dogs through the neighborhood. As such, inevitably trash ends up scattered about. Gloves, trash bags and water will be provided. Please bring comfortable clothes and work boots/shoes. Subject to rescheduling in the event of inclement weather.
