With a chill in the air and harvest underway, come join us as we demonstrate canning a Fall favorite ... Pumpkin Butter. Join park staff as we share the historic process of canning, and how Upper Cumberland families put their food and produce up for the winter months. Come out and try some flavors of Fall as we celebrate the weather change.
Participants will receive a historic recipe to take home and try in their own kitchens as well as their own sample of Pumpkin Butter.
This program is suitable for all ages, however, children 15 and under will need adult supervision.
