Join Ranger Jason Davis for this special lantern light interpretive walk through Fort Watauga and the park’s historic grounds. Discover the events that took place around Sycamore Shoals leading up to one of the most critical campaigns during the American Revolution that helped win independence from Great Britain. Portions of the walk will include ground that may not be flat or solid for people with mobility challenges and involve moving through areas of low lighting. Meet in the picnic area adjacent to the Visitor Center. Please no pets.
