This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
Get ready to roll up your sleeves and get messy! In this hands-on program, kids will become engineers for the day as they build their own miniature dams using natural materials, water, and plenty of creativity. Through play and experimentation, participants will discover how dams work, how they control water flow, and why they are important to communities. Along the way, they'll learn about the history, purpose, and impact of Norris Dam, one of the first major projects of the Tennessee Valley Authority. This fun, interactive program combines science, history, and outdoor exploration while encouraging curiosity, problem-solving, and a little muddy adventure
