This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
We will begin by setting up an illuminated bug sheet to safely observe moths, Beetles and other nocturnal creatures up close. Park staff will guide visitors through insect identification, behavior, and the importance of these nighttime species play in our ecosystem.
The participant fee for this program is $10 and can be paid by registering online or by calling the park office.
After the bug sheet, we will take a short, easy hike to listen for night sounds, wildlife and experience the park after park.
This program is family-friendly and great for all ages.
What to bring:
When you arrive, please check in the park ranger at the front gate.
