This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
This program is for BRAT participants only.
Experience Lawrenceburg while staying cool with a leisurely float on the east fork of Shoal Creek! CSTC will be providing high-quality creek tubes, life jackets, and transportation to the downtown drop-off point, and will pick-up downstream near the park. Sit back and let the current do the work for you as we float past some beautiful scenery and historic talking points. Stay close to Ranger Rachel Grigsby to learn about some of Lawrenceburg's history, as well as the local wildlife that we may spot!
This is a shallow float, so depending on recent rainfall and water levels, there may be areas where tubes will drag on the creek bottom and require the person to stand up and move their tube a short distance. Experienced tubers may be able to navigate around these areas and avoid having to stand up at all. Sticks may be provided to help guide the tubes toward deeper channels in the creek.
The cost of this excursion is $20. To register, please do so here prior to the 14th. No fee will be taken when registering here, but payment for this excursion will be taken the morning of the event by CSTC. Transportation will be provided by CSTC from the Events Center.
