This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
We invite you to join our preservation effort at the park to restore the Bradford Cemetery grounds. The project aims to stop the decay of historical gravestones and restore dignity to the final resting places of early community members.
By clearing overgrowth, removing debris, trimming vegetation, and preserving the headstones, we can ensure these final resting places are dignified and not forgotten.
This restoration effort will help future generations learn about their heritage and understand the lives of those who came before us. A key part of this initiative involves installing new signage to share the stories and heritage of those buried here and remembered by future generations. Your assistance will help ensure this important piece of local history is sustained for years to come.
We will meet at the cemetery at 9:00 am to 1:00 pm on the 18th and 19th of December. The park will supply all tools and gloves for the clean-up. Please remember to wear appropriate clothing, closed-toed shoes and bring a water bottle.
Let's honor our community's history together!
