This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
World Wetlands Day is celebrated every year in February. Join us on the wettest trail at the park, the Blue Hole Trail! This trip is recommended for teens and adults. We will meet at the Blue Hole Trail Head. Feel free to bring water, cameras, and an extra jacket because it is sure to be chilly! You will absolutely get your feet wet, so be sure to bring appropriate footwear. The Blue Hole Trail is short, but one of the most difficult trails at the park, so please be prepared for a steep and wet hike.
This program is free, but we are accepting donations for the park. There are limited spaces on this hike, so online registration is required. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early, if possible, to receive a safety briefing. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
In the event of inclement weather, the event will be cancelled, and all attendees will be notified via text message or email, so be sure to provide a good contact when signing up. Refunds will only be offered if the event is cancelled by the park.
