Whether you're a beginner birder or life-long enthusiast, all are welcome to join us for our 1.5-mile birding hike! During this program, we will explore our federally protected wetlands, Old Hickory Lake, and tree canopies in search of the birds that enjoy Bledsoe Creek State Park.
Ranger Abby will provide ID books and binoculars to borrow for the duration of the program. Visitors are encouraged to bring any birding tools they are hoping to try out, including cameras, scopes, phone apps (e.g. Merlin ID), and more!
Please see the Essential Eligibility Criteria for hike intensity details. If you would like to reserve our All-Terrain wheelchair for this program, please reserve it at this link for free!
