Join Seasonal Ranger Molly to discover the fascinating history of the black walnut tree and one of nature's oldest dyes! Learn how people have used black walnuts for generations before creating your own naturally dyed T-shirt to take home. Participants must bring their own 100% cotton T-shirt to dye, as natural fibers produce the best results. We will meet at the Creek Observation Deck. This program is $6 per participant and is geared towards adults. Please bring water, sunscreen, and bug spray, and wear clothes you don't mind getting a little dirty, as natural dyes can stain.
