This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
Meet Ranger Jordan at the swim beach to spot birds out on the lake and ID them. We will use the birding app Merlin to ID them by sight and sound, and the birding app eBird to keep track of what kinds of birds we see and how many there are.
Afterwards, join us at the Nature Center at 2 pm to see us feed our bird ambassadors and learn about some of our native birds of prey and why we have them in residence.
We will have 2 spotting scopes set up, but bringing your own binoculars is highly recommended.
Please bundle up, we will be outside on the lake, and the wind can get strong.
