Orienteering is a navigation sport where participants use a map and compass to find control flags in unfamiliar territory. This clinic is for beginners and addresses types of navigation sports, typical equipment, map reading, and navigation skills. All equipment is provided. Participants should plan to practice skills learned in the clinic at the meet held shortly after the clinic in the park. This class is being taught by Nashville Orienteering club. This class will be taught at the Park Office Visitor Center.
