This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
Have you ever thought about starting a nature journal? Keeping a journal can help with building observations skills and making you feel more connected to the natural world! Join Seasonal Interpretive Ranger Jewell at the Visitor Center for a 0.5 mile walk along the Byrd lake Trail, where you’ll learn how to record observations and thoughts about nature by drawing and writing. This activity is for both adults and children 8+. A packet will be provided or you can bring your own personal journal! This event will be cancelled in the event of thunderstorms. Space is limited--You must register for this event prior to attending.
