This event is now history, but we have many more wonderful programs in store for you!
Brood XIV cicadas have swept the southeast after 17 years of waiting underground, but what is a cicada and what do they do for us? This program will cover everything you want to know about cicadas and teach you how to preserve and take home a cicada specimen of your very own!
This program is for anyone ages 12+ interested in learning about cicadas or insect preservation. This program is not recommended for young children as we will be working with delicate specimens as well as sharp needles.
The program will last approximately 1.5 hours and will take place indoors. In the case of any emergencies this program may be cancelled or rescheduled. If the program is cancelled you will receive a text on the phone number you provide during registration, and we will attempt to reschedule for the near future.
