Join Interpretive Ranger Amanda at the Ranger station for a slide show presentation on bear safety. Learn about why we are a bear sanctuary for the black bear here in Rocky Fork and learn about what to do in the event of a black bear encounter! We will discuss and learn about their habitat and mannerisms, along with camping safety. A black bear pelt will also be available to feel and view. Seating, restrooms and a water station will be available on-site.
