Ladybugs, also known as a lady beetles, are one of Tennessee's state symbols. Specifically the Common ladybug/Seven-spot lady bird (Coccinella septempunctata) Although this species is not native to Tennessee, it has been able to integrate and become a valuable resource within agriculture. Many farmers use ladybugs as a natural pesticide as they are aphid predators.
With this program, you can learn even more about these insects while making your very own to take home with you!
